there are some timing kits that claim to offer 10-20 hp gains.what do you guys think,good or b.s.:soap:

always heard our timing wasn't adjustable, that its set in the computer and the distributer is keyed. Basicly any kind of advancing you want to do is done on a "chip" or HPP3:guitar:

Hey if you see that kit on ebay its crap. You could save yourself the money and buy some cooper wire and clamps like they are selling. Its the same on ebay with gutter gaurd inserts they are selling some of them for around 30 bucks when all you need is 2 bucks and a hardware store.

thanks ,it was on ebay,and i coulnt see a 20hp gain for 20 bucks.so i was hoping you guys would now more and you did!

Are you talking a bout a curve kit that replaces the springs and counter balancers in the distributor? I used one of those in my '80 Grand Prix. I got a big boost in low end but I dont think it was 20hp. Im not sure it would work right on a computer controlled engine.
