Just got off work, it's 106° but the 8.5 is coming out of the race 10 to make way for the 8.8. I can say right now the 8.5 will sit for a few days before I swap the daily PLUS I need to get the driveshaft cut down 1/2" NOT TODAY!!!!

So my compressor clutch decided to go out yesterday, it's been humming for about a month or so so I knew it was on its way.
I was able to tap the peice back in and it works again for now untill it comes out again lol, looks like I lost a rivet thing.
The Delphi part number I have now is 15068284
So I ordered a brand new Delphi cs0121 from rockauto.
It's to hott here in FL, got to have ac.

You got off lucky with your AC pump. mine broke the shaft and flew off. I was on the freeway at the time doing 70 and it took out the fan and the fan shroud on it's way out.

And this is the one I received, the clutch looks like a different style, wonder why it's different than what was pictured or am I missing something?

Dang that sucks.
What brand did you replace it with?
I use the four seasons AC kit from AutoZone I put it in 2017 and just had to replace it this year. Pump went out but it has a lifetime warranty. So all it cost me was two and a half cans of R134a. The kit works well the other day it was 105 outside and my vent temp was 29°F with fan on full. Don't use the orifice that comes with a kit use the AC Delco orifice P/N 15-5151 you can pick it up on Amazon for under five bucks. And don't forget to flush your hoses condenser and evaporator. I used isopropyl alcohol 91% it works better than AC flush and a lot cheaper. Just make sure after you flush the system that you blow air through it for at least 30 minutes especially the condenser. You can use compressed air or if you have a small leaf blower that works also to push the air through the condenser to make sure to dry it out.

It's fine looks like the same pump but with a different clutch face on the front. Just make sure to put the right oil for the pump. I think it's PAG 150 that's run in most of the s10s and sonoma / blazers and jimmy. The pump should already have three or four ounces of oil in it . It should have a label on the pump of how much oil is preloaded then just add the different.

Yea it came prefilled, I emptied it out and put the 2 oz in the pump. It came with about 7 oz in that thing.

Got that sucker on there, recovered it into a storage tank, then installed the new compressor, then ran a vacuum through the system to check for leaks and it seemed all good, then I filled it with 2/12 cans of freon, which is 30 oz, or 1.75 lbs.
Also had to check the oil in the compressor because it came prefilled with like six or seven ounces I had to drain it out and then only fill it with 2 oz. Also had to swap out a pressure switch that goes into the back of the compressor.
