Late start on the truck due to the blazer giving a hard time today. S10 took me just over 2 hours to swap the 8.5" in, custom stainless brake line fit like a champ, rear shocks are dead and my coil overs have not made it here yet..... Driveshaft has to be cut still.
I think you are the only one to catch that)
At first I was going to do the cal-tracs but I enjoy cornering A LOT and those have to be readjusted for anything other than lateral acceleration. Not good for my intention. Great parts and proven.
I then looked into the Ridetech and was hot on that but the bracket that mounts on the axle housing needs to be modified to allow the use of a girdle. 1200.00 plus 750.00 for coil overs was a bit much and will kill my budget for this build. Great components though.
Just as I was thinking "forget it" leave it stock and send it I came across this

I was flushing my coolant yesterday and i think on the third flush coolant started coming out the hole next to the radiator petcock/drain plug.
. Does anyone know how to fix this? Its driving me crazy. I think it started leaking after i squeezed the lower radiator hose by mistake when bleeding...
I'm building a drag truck on a budget out of a 1996 S-10. I'm cleaning all of the unnescessary items out of the engine bay and wanting to remove the inner fenders/splash guards as well. The brake pressure modulator on the driver side, can it be removed completely? Remember this thing will not...
Good morning. I’m building a 1998 S-10. I want to narrow the frame and rearend. I need suggestions on width of overall frame and 9 in ford housing. I’d like to run 15 x 15 wheels with 33 x 19.5/15. Any suggestions on wheel and tire size also would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
