Just got done with the upper and lower control arms. This 04 Blazer was a virgin. The control arms were not ever replaced. it fought me tooth and nail all the way. Then my spring compressor broke it gave me a Jesus moment . What a beautiful day it was.

Replace door speakers and dash tweeters with Pioneer TS-D65C and replace rear speakers with Pioneer TS-D69F . Forgot how fun it was to replace the rear 6X9s on a two-door Blazer.

Had to replace my HVAC box today two 2 of 3 doors inside were broken thanks to the defrost vent falling to pieces and going down inside and blocking the doors. Had an extra one from my 03 Sonoma fit perfect.

Replaced both exhaust manifolds. Tried to just replace the studs in the original exhaust manifolds but they all broke off into the manifold. Also replace driver and passenger motor mounts. both of them were ripped in half. And started on my custom steering shaft.

There is something wrong with the wiring harness that plugs into the shifter. I swapped the shifter still had the same issue so I swapped the harness and so far no more issues.

2 10mm bolts and a couple of screws and the entire console lifts off.

I saw these on the Dakota Digital web site and thought hmm "I like buying good gifts for my mistress lol nobody will know but me hand her eheheh!" I came across this new direct fit option. I'm glad that they make something else for the first gen S-10s. The only thing I don't like is that the turn signals are small and in the MPH gauge. Overall I think they will be nice fit.

Me and my Wife remove driver seat today took it apart and stitched the lower pad where the seam was coming apart on the outer edge. Also fixed back lumbar support rod were it broke at the bottom like all of them do. Clean carpet and headliner. And I ordered some Lloyd floormats. The metal they use in these seats is garbage even brazing it will blow a hole in it easily.

Finally have the catalytic installed now taking it for a nice long drive at 55 to set monitors. Then I can go get my smog done and get my tag.

Finally all done got the monitors to finally set after 4 hours and 100+ miles. Pass smog and got my tag. That thing did not want to set the catalytic monitor. And driving 55 on the freeway it's definitely a death wish.

Right when you think your ahead you get kicked backwards. After driving the blazer for a while started hearing this like squeal chirp so I thought it was the serpentine belt. So I went and bought a new serpentine belt kit replaced everything still chirped and squeal and it sound like it was coming from the alternator so I replaced it. It's not the alternator turns out it's the water pump. It's not leaking but I'm going to replace it this weekend that chirp squeal is driving me nuts.

Okay today I did upper and lower intake gaskets also replaced injectors and replace distributor (aluminum) and I added two thermostat switches into the intake. Low speed turns on at 180 shuts off at 165 and high speed turns on at 200 shuts off at 185. And I did relays and wiring for electric fans.
