I had the 4.3 set at 5 degree down. I placed my level on the edge of the head.

Should I do the 350 the same 5*? Since I have to redo the tranny x-member, I wanted to make sure & get it right.

Also, putting it on the head ok?

ive been told a few numbers, but the one i hear most often is 3 degrees

i try to level out the carb or tbi flange then put 2-3 degrees at the trans output shaft

the carb or tbi flange is often not the same as the engine, many manifolds have a slope to offset the tilt of the engine so the carb sits level

angle should be taken at the heads, not the intake
