i just realized, that the 444c dual pack is the only kit that does not come with the relays, fuse holder, and airline. Why is that?
Those accessories significantly drive up the price of the Dual Packs. The whole reason that the 444C Dual Packs exist is to provide the most bang for the buck we can provide in a fully capable 200 PSI Dual Pack.

alright its cool. thought i would ask. both of my compressors work great. i thought i needed to rebuild them but it turns out i had a crack in my airline and it was causing my tank to have longer fill times. i replaced all my airline and now i have 0 leaks and it takes about 10 minutes from 0-200psi

What size air tank? If you have a 10 gallon tank, you're about a minute faster than we advertise.

5.0 Gallon Tank
Fill Rate
0 To 200 PSI: 5 Min. 30 Sec.
165 To 200 PSI:
1 Min. 35 Sec.

well i finally got around to tearing down the old comp. i think i may need a new piston and sleeve. lol had tons of metal shavings in the case when i opened it.
You definitely need a piston assembly and cylinder wall. The metal shavings are the inside of the cylinder that have been ground down by the piston seal that no longer exists due to wear.

Customer service done me right! Jesse Widjaja took care of me, He said he didnt have any filter relocation kits, but was able to send me the mounting hardware and some shteeeckers fo free, after I offered to pay. Thanks for the awesome service! I decided since my truck wont have windsheild wipers and is only going to be summer/nice day driver, the comps will be fine under the bed with regular filters right?

Oh Im sorry, I didnt realize lol.

And I should remote mount them even if its only getting drove on nice days? Never in rain or even when its cold out. Mainly to cruises and some local shows, other than that, it will be sitting in the garage

The idea with relocating your filters to to do everything in your power to keep anything but clean air from entering the compressor. Anything that manages to bypass the filter can and usually will end up in your cylinder, being dragged around until it is ground to a fine powder or turned into mud and is compressed along with the air or sticks to areas inside the unit that were never meant to have anything on them. In the process, particulate destroys the smooth bore of the cylinder wall and eats the piston seal, speeding up the interval at which both must be replaced.

I have 2 480 compressors going to what i believe is a 5 gallon air tank in the truck i just bought. I am going to time the fill up but I am guessing it close to 10 minutes to 200psi. I also noticed that the remote air flitlers are inside the cab, but not hooked to the compressors. They are in the bed, uncovered, and it rains on them alot. I'm thinkin rebuild, but what is cost compared to just buying 2 new compressors?
