how do you get the pass. side vent trim out. i can get the actual vent itself out, but want to paint the trim around it. anyone?

The vent will pop out of the trim just don't push too hard

i got the vent out. it's the trim piece around it that i can't get.

Dude...the trim around the vent on the pass. side DOES NOT just pop out. There is a long screw that holds in in from behind. It is a PITA to take out. Have to get to it from behind the glovebox.

:stupid: If you try to just pop it out then you will break the trim piece. My advice would be to try and tape everything off and paint it where it is or leave it factory color. It is a pain to get to.

I too am trying to get this trim piece off of my '02.
