I picked up a well done LT1 swap and found some pretty janky wire work. There was a speaker wire ran from the alternator to the starter, It was tied into the wire bundle and I didn't notice it until it completely shorted out. A quick road side repair to get me home, and 10 minutes of running new cable is worth the hassle. Vehicle Engine Auto part Car Automotive exterior

Hers my junkyard / Craigslist/ parts leftover from 23 years ago/ build . .o40 over , old school gear drive . Can't remember if the cam is a Isky or Crower ,the crank is from a 400 . Other then the machine work for the block and crank I got 468 bucks tied up in it. Built it in the driveway no garage . Reminded me of being 17 again . So far I'm in the whole truck at 4 months 1,600 and change

Here’s my 92. Vortec 350 (L31) with TBI injection. First swap ever. Never attempted anything remotely close to this difficulty level. Took about 3 months to complete working sporadically. Probably could do it again in 2 weeks if I could work 6-8 per day straight for the 2 weeks.

pullers fit fine even with the motor in stock location on the jtr mounts. pullers keep my ~300hp truck with AC cool







all these pictures are from durring the swap. i need to get some good pictures of the some what finished product.
That thing is nice I’m building a 350
Swapped s10 and she in rough shape now but she’s going to be a nice ol ride when she’s done though

are there any threads, pics or videos on this? is that the factory compressor? factory compressor bracket?
I used the factory set up off of a 95 4.3 on my 350. Everything work fine and fit good. After all they the front of the block is basically identical.
