I just got a 2002 Chevy S-10 and I’m looking for stuff to upgrade it, it’s fairly stock I don’t really know what’s been done but when I look it doesn’t look like anything has been done. What would be the best thing to do to it? And what’re some good websites to use to find aftermarket parts

The 1qst thing I'd do is give it a complete tune-up and fluid change..all of them. You could also post up some pics...might help us know what's been done cosmetically.

Lower it a couple inches, ZQ8 wheels, fat tires, led tail lights. Not those gawdy ones they used to make.

Looks like the Mag finish is going on the wheels. I'd consider having them blasted and refinished. Or you can DIY with square palm sander and some 400 grit, remove the rest of the clear/mag until its a smooth surface and use autostore rattle cans for rims. I've had good success doing it in the past. A dark bronze looks really good on the pewter trucks. Yours is the same colour mine was.

Street scene mirrors are nicer than the big mickey dopey ear mirrors.

Fresh headlights look good. Especially the LED lower turn signals.

18's keep a comfortable size and wide tire selection while fitting on stock suspensions without issues. Once you start going 19 and larger the rubber becomes more expensive, and fitments become tighter typically.

The ride quality also diminishes past 18 fairly considerably. Lots of 16-18" wheels look great on S10's and are budget affordable with budget rubber.

C4 through C7 corvettes use the same bolt pattern as S-10's, 5x4-3/4 (5x120.65), and readily fit with 2.25" billet wheel adapters. Many vette rims look great on S10's.

I particularly like the C4 93'-96' 17x8.5" Sawblades, I run the C6 Z06 10 spokes as a deep dish with 18x8.5 & 19x10 rears, and the C6/C7's have a few styles in chrome and black that look great as well.

After that there are dozens of aftermarket wheel companies, and lots of styles to choose from, like the classic torque thrust Boss 338's to well, anything really.

rockauto.com has nearly every part for S-10s. I have 266,000 miles on my '94 S-10 that I bought new in 1994 and rockauto.com has saved me hundreds of dollars on parts. My latest upgrade was LED bulbs and headlights but I got all those from Amazon.com.

First block the defrost by putting a pin or screw so you cannot put the defrost fully on. I would suspect the flapper arm is already broken off so check to see if the heat goes to the floor and not much anywhere else. If the speakers have not been replaced they will stop working soon. I suggest that you buy a new radiator cap as the ones that come on them fail and blows off hoses, cracks the radiator. Soon the fuel pump will stop. The dash lights will start acting strange. The switch where you dim the dash will stop working. So you should buy the repair insurance The doors will start sagging so you can jack them up if you are lucky

There was an Accident in Washington that killed 2 boys.
They were going home and made a slight left turn and both right wheels collapsed.
It was those after market large wheels.
The Kids that were killed parents sued the wheel manufacture
The case was thrown out as there were 10 in an 8 passenger van
