Getting ready 2 sfbd 1st series. Was wondering how hard the truck lay if i built
the frame under the stock frame instead of going in the frame and basicly laying my 2x3 ontop of the bottom rail?
I will put it another way.I was wanting 2 have the top of the new frame be were the bottom of the old frame is now. Then when the old frame is removed the cab
would drop the entire length of the old frame.I guess it would be like Z ing the front of the frame in front of the cab. My b i didnt word it right before.Cab goes down suspension is moved up.Would that lay nice?
ok i got it now, i would have to see it to understand exactly but form what your saying it sound like it would lay because your scrapping the pld frame under the cab and using 2x3 right? that would leave the cab low enough
wtf? there is a reason things are done the way they are. Think how messed up the front crossmember and suspension will be in relation to the rest of the truck if you do that.
