I can be driving my truck for 1/2 hour or more without any problems. Then when take off from a stop, it has no power at all. It misfires and shudders like it's running on 2 cylinders for a bit, then it runs fine. The computer is setting a 41 code, which my Haynes manual lists as "Cylinder select error - MEM-CAL or ECM problem". I really don't want to spend the money on a new PCM unless I'm absolutely sure that's the problem.

Anyone have any ideas what else it might be or how to verify the PCM is bad? Could this be the ignition module? Can that be tested?

This is on a 1995 S10, 2.2L with OBD I computer.

Your problem could be, faulty wiring, faulty ignition control module, or faulty PCM.
