I have a 1994 SS with a 4L60E transmission in it. Reverse doesn't work at all.

I plan on dropping a 383 Stroker motor in after winter so I wanted to put a TH350 in it as well.

I need reverse for winter so I was wondering if I could take the 4L60E out of the truck and mount the TH350 to the current 4.3L CPI until I put the 383 in during spring.

Do the measurements line up the same? The bell housing is the same, but what about the length from the bell housing to the end of the tail shaft? Or the transmission mounts to the end of the tail shaft.

Also what problems would I encounter electronically or wiring wise?
