I feel like theres an issue with my transmission its a 4l60e this is also my first time owning one of these trucks with a 4l60e . it revs up high when taking off from a dead stop and it seems as if it revs up a little high when sifting into second but after you get up to speed its feels great is that normal for this truck witha little 4 banger ?

Ah ok im just a new member and this is not my thred I'm just wondering what you ment

Start by checking the fluid with it idling in park. Up to the full line or a little over is what you want. If it's already there let us know if it's pinky reddish and has no smell like it should be.
Or if it's brown or black or smells burned, the trans is due for a rebuild.

oldeerslayer response is spot on. However if the transmission is in fact slipping you could use Lucas Stop Slip, this is not a fix it is a band-aid and can help aid it along until you can get a rebuild.
