My transmission grinds in 3/4/5th AFTER I shift to the point where I cant barely accelerate. Safe to say I need a new transmission?

Does the case have enough fluid?

Yes I checked the level even after that. I was assuming there was a crack somewhere or a break in one of the lines because of all the fluid.

One of the lines? This is a standard transmission, right?

A manual has no "lines".

Can you shift into reverse without grinding? If you have no grinding here then the transmission is likely the problem.

A grinding transmission is most often the clutch not releasing, usually most noticeable in the lower gears and reverse. So if the clutch is releasing then the transmission is the problem.
