I am looking for help on how to change out the 4L60E transmission out of my 1995 Chevy Blazer 4x4. I looked on YT and nothing detailed & there using car lifts. I use this blazer to get me to work & high school. The blazer's transmission has no overdrive. When you shift into OD the transmission makes a loud whine almost like a RC car & has horrible problems shifting from 2-4 gears. I have a brand spanking new transmission i spent 3 years saving for. I just need someone who did this change & swap before. I am 16 & not rich enough to afford a garage & car lift. So the best i can do is car jacks & stands with ramps.

I'd highly recommend you get a GM Factory Service manual which will have the step by step procedure. On a 4x4 it's a big job. Do not use Hayes, Chilton, or CDs. They're junk.
This one is a bit worse for the wear, but will get your job done inexpensively:

You're lucky it's a 95. If you wanted a 2000 Manual it'd cost 5 to 10 times as much.
