You'll more than likely have to replace the tailshaft housing seal.

If your ride dropped by the way ? Is it a reg cab ? Sometimes
when a reg cab is dropped the driveshaft ends up hittin the
the tailshaft housing or will blow out the pinion in the rear end.

Reason being when your suspension is working up and down,
the driveshaft goes in and and out..That's why the factory
puts in about 3/4" freeplay between the yoke and tailshaft
housing..

the seal is cheap, like $1.50 (at least for my 1st gen). You might want to invest another $8 and buy a seal puller, makes the job a WHOLE lot easier than using a screwdriver.
