So I went to the track last night. I staged, then took the engine up to 2000 RPM, then dumped the clutch and hit the gas. I spun all of 1st gear, about 1/4 of 2nd.

On the next run, I revved the engine up to 1200 RPM dumped the clutch and hit the gas. Again, I spun all of 1st gear, then chirped 2nd.

I added the Hypertech Power Programmer since the last time I went. The last time I didn't have any poblems like this. I have the stock 235/55/16 soon to be upgraded to 275/40/17. Will a set of Lakewood Universal Traction Bars help? Also, are these compatible with 1" lowering blocks?

BTW, I ran 10.839 (1/8 Mile tack) with about 90% humidity.

those lakewoods will make a world of difference. best $30 ive spent on the truck! fixed the wheel hop and the spin. i think those in addition to your new tires, and youll have no traction problems.

I had traction bars on my 99 X 2.2. I took them off since I lowered the X in the rear and inch, Plus I needed to clean them up(rusty a little) acid will take care of that.

Buy them I guarantee you will not be disapointed.
