@Tranzman I've got a question for you. My son has a 2020 Silverado 6.2L 10spd transmission. When he's pulling his boat...probably 5-6K in weight, the transmission jerks. He has it in Tow-Haul mode, speed is between 65-70 mph. I asked him if it does it with T-H off and he hasn't tried it that way. He took it to the dealer, but of course they couldn't duplicate the problem, and are apparently not smart enough to look in the trouble shooting section of the FSM. They did check for codes....none. Any ideas?

They won't even try to duplicate towing situations. Best that he could try is to talk to the service manager and explain the situation. Maybe he can set up an appointment for a passenger road test. That way he can bring it with a trailer. Drive it himself with them in the passenger seat to duplicate the the issue. He's going to need to drive it enough to find a way for him to say at a small grade with it in 8th when it kicks back to 7th or 6th it clunks. The dealer may need to flash the trans module with an updated programming.
I'm not hearing a lot of good things about the 10 speed. It's already hitting the shops for repairs

Thanks Randy. He mentioned to them that he would bring it in on the trailer. It's going to be awhile since his boat is in dry storage on a rack.

Yeah a lot of dealers/mechanics believe in no codes, no bulletins = no problems...
