I stumbled upon a GM Performance Parts Catalog from "back in the day" and it had a lot of 2.5 Liter Pontiac HD Parts listed in it. One part that really got my attention was a set of OE "hot rod" timing gears. They are straight cut OE style "plastic" gears made by Pontiac to address the typical
Duke timing gear issues. Made to solve what they called the
unusual crankshaft harmonics in all Dukes that cause timing gear failure..anybody ever use these gears??

I would like to see those, hate that these are all old threads, seems the 2.5 topics have died off

‘Ike Steady Eddie hasn’t been on in 7 years. That’s one reason you don’t bump dead threads.
