Weird... I used a combination of AN fittings.
Some eBay, Jegs and Summit. I have a large box full of fittings from many different projects
I haven't had any problems yet.

Not a great pic, but there is a brass "T" fitting there.

You can see the AN -4 stainless line looping back to return line of the stock system. The middle of the "T" feeds the Weber through a 3/8" see through fuel filter. You can see the filter fill as the carb needs fuel, when the carb bowl is full, the fuel flow stops.
The system works very well. I was going to install a fuel pressure gauge, but it doesn't seem to need it.

After I installed the disc rear end, I tried to bleed the brakes - no go.
It seems like the truck had no rear brakes for a long time.

Here's the reason ^^^
I don't know why, but GM added rear anti lock brakes??? (brilliant idea - but uh, NO)
The ABS control valves were stuck, not allowing any fluid to pass by.
Solution?
Yep, eliminate.

Plenty of fluid to the rear calipers.
The first time out for a test ride almost sent me through the windshield.
The brake pedal is much higher and is lots firmer. I barely apply pressure and the truck stops HARD....

All it took was 1 5/16" brake line union.

Cleaned out the old brown juice and installed fresh DOT 4 synthetic fluid. Flushed the entire system too.
Ma, the brakes work...

Completely installed Weber and Edelbrock performance intake manifold.
The engine starts instantly in any weather and idles. Plenty of power, all vacuum components are connected and working.
It runs better than the TBI it replaced - hard to believe.

A little creativity for the throttle connection. Works surprisingly well

I am missing a bolt.
Just lost my way...

I'll be back
I used to have access to all of the AN fittings I could want! (Aircraft Mechanic) as long as the new stuff went in the aircraft we could have the old fittings.
Now they all have to be tagged and destroyed.

^^^ Thanks for the invite!
I was working 7 days/week, 10 hour/days.
Then? The bottom dropped out. I'm back in Baton Rouge - FTW.
Working for Unkle Sam is crazy sometimes.
I anticipate being back there at some point, if it happens I will def look you up.

Pro - Didn't have enough time to source anything new...

At least I can finish this project.
I think I mentioned that a friend has claimed this rig. He's sent $$ already, so this is going North.
I've done most of the mechanical stuff, now it's on to interior crap.
Carpet, sound dead stuff, radio, speakers, rebuild the bench seat, and more.
I guess either he'll be flying here or I'll drive it North packed with parts and a full trailer.
More pix and improvements coming
