[2003S10Xtreme]

Today I go to pick up my new 2003 Chevy S10 Xtreme with the 4.3. 110,000 on it, some crappy aftermarket "steelies" on the back and no exhaust. It needs paint, badges, a 4th stock Xtreme wheel, a front air dam, and just some touching up. Hoping too have some ideas bounced around. Will post pics after I pick it up.

Welcome from another 03 Xtreme owner. Looks like it might have been in a front fender bender since the bumper and valance are not from an Xtreme.

That's what I've been worried about, I've only had time too test drive it, but there is no way in **** I can find a nearly rust free S10 in Nebraska with only 105,000 on it. (Except my best friend, who has a '98 single cab short box beige coloured 2.2 5 speed, with only 97,000 for half the price of mine.) I need to get in the glove box as soon as possible. The rest of the kit is on except for the front bumper and air dam. I think it's kind of lucky for the seller that the previous owner started painting it: No badges, no stickers, can hardly see the original paint. I'm hoping it's just a really badly faded victory red, but I've been wrong before... jus waiting on my car's title to come in to trade it. More pics then. Sorry for the obnoxiously long post.

True True. That paint on their now actually looks closer to the faded paint on my 1990 S10 Tahoe. 156,000 or so on it, lotta torque. If I put the four wheeler trailer on and jus tap the gas, the front end tires come off the ground. Good times.

FYI Don't make the same mistake I did and buy an aftermarket air dam as they are junk. I had to send mine back then pony up and buy the genuine GM part. The bumper you can probably get away with aftermarket though.

Depends if I can find a junker Xtreme somewhere in the area. Gon go steal parts off of one if I can find one. Same with another wheel. It only has 3 Xtreme wheels (one of which is in the bed with a spare on it) and 2 Cragar rip offs on the back.

Good luck finding a junker Xtreme with a good air dam. ? Most will have a badly damaged air dam if any at all. The wheels show up on eBay from time to time but good hub caps are hard to find, I have 2 that are going bad and I have been looking for replacements for over a year.

Yeah, he doesn't even have the caps for them. I've seen a couple "replica" wheels on ebay but nothing OEM. And I'm most worried about finding a full front bumper and air dam, lotta money for original parts.

Think outside the state. Find something that's pretty clean and make the trip.

Ive seen 2 Blazer xtremes at the pic and pulls in the last 6 months.
was able to get the rear springs from one,kicking myself for not getting rear bumper extensions.
Down here very few are retired because of rust issues,sadly enough its mechanical or slight body damage
that does them in. I cant save them all,need help.

Still waiting on the title. I'm willing to make the trips out of state, jus gotta find a good day to go on the weekends. Snow is starting to come in, loaded up on after school activities for senior year, start my full time after school job tonight. Losing a *uva lot of free time, but it'll get the truck put back together, properly. I haven't really used eBay that much, so I'll be sure to be putting more in detailed searches. I don't internet much, usually outside working on something and really only browse the forums and look up part numbers. Been thinking about it, kiiiiinda wanna 5 speed swap it and put Irocs on it. *, I don't know. I jus need to get it back too OEM first I spose.
