Steady progress. The best compliment I can give you is your thread makes me go and work on my truck even when I don't want to. Ha.
Thanks bro. Keep chipping away at it. That's all I do.

But now I've come to a dead stop. I tried to get the motor started and it's not cooperating. I have spark and fuel but it's backfiring. When I took the motor apart, I never touched the bottom end or the timing chain so the timing can't be off. I checked the wiring on the fuel rail and that's correct. I can't figure it out. I had the coil packs reversed but switched them and it didn't help. Next thing I'm checking is rocker arm adjustment. But I doubt it's that. And I'm at the end of my mechanical knowledge.

stupid photobucket has been processing my video for a week.

but on a more positive note......

driveshaft went out to get lengthened. i pick it up tomorrow.

started on brake lines. from the rear lines are done and sitting right under the master. i started working on the front lines but realized that i used 3/16" line. should i use 1/4" to move more fluid? I'm not sure cause the nut on the 3/16 line threads right into the rubber line on the caliper.

Unfortunately i have the wrong master for the hydroboost. I thought it worked with any year s10, but it needs a 98+ with the smaller bore. so i'll call the yards and see if i can find one quick.

Still trying to have it on the road by the end of the month but weds. starts me working 9 days in a row. :(

Time and motivation are running low.

2 weeks till Low Rollers. Still have a a laundry list of things that need to be finished.

Brake lines are finished, just gotta bleed them. Odd thing though.....i filled the resevoir to gravity bleed it and within 2 minutes i had fluid at the rear calipers. Which i thought was very unusual. Which ports go where on the proportioning valve? Just want to make sure i didn't reverse them.

Exhaust is done and i got a new windshield.

Still need to:
wire e-fan
send power to the HID's(just extend 1 wire)
test brake lights
bleed brakes
weld bed
bleed cooling system
mount tanks, comps, and VU4
mount tires on 2 rims
replace door seal on the cab
wire new headlight switch and make mount
reinstall interior
exhaust wrap where it's close to floor
and anything else i forgot

So I have headlights, brake lights, and flashers. I think the switch in the column is bad though cause just by turning the key to "on" the relay clicks and it causes the tailights to flash. But I can move on to something else. Tried running the motor a little and it was having a hard time starting and it would stall out within a few seconds. I'm gonna check the fuel filters first. And if it's not that the in thinking I got water in the tank through the motorcycle cap. That's tomorrow's project along with bleeding the brakes, wiring the fan, and getting my other two rims mounted and balanced.

12 days and counting. This is gonna be close.

So the minor tweaks i need to make are with the brakes, temp gauge, e-fan, and the rear floor.

The brakes, i think are just a bleeding issue. they're very soft and the pedal comes up very slowly after being pressed. I bought those speed bleeders from summit, so hopefully that helps.

The temp gauge isn't going above 175 even after idling in the hi/lo for 15 minutes.

The e-fan never actually turned on. so idk if i wired it wrong, or the aluminum rad never got hot enough.

The rear floor flexes too much. With my one buddy in the back, the yoke was just hitting the driveshaft tunnel.

so i got the interior mostly back in

then i changed the gas cap because it was leaking water into the tank.

also got the plates on it

right now my issue is with the hydroboost. pedal acts perfectly normal when the motor is off. but as soon as i start the motor, it applies the brakes normal, but it is slow to return back to the top.
