So this is an old wreck but I didn't want to say anything or post anything untill the legal crap was done.
The crash happined in March of 2012 my wife son and brother inlaw and I were on our way home from there sisters in place up north after watching our nephews last hocky game of the year. We were about 15 min away from her house on a back road and some moron blew through a stop sing and t boned us we ended up on the passnger side about 60' off the road in a farmers felid my brother inlaw was thrown from the vehicle and dead on impact my wife and son were hurt pretty bad and I was very lucky had no major problems. We miss our brother lots all the time. Here's some pics.

The guy who hit us got sweet dick all. He got charged with failure to yield the right of way 3 points and a$500 fine.

I miss that truck I spent a lot of cash on that thing I had it shiped up from Texas and basicily did a body off resto on in I had about 12gs in total in it.
Never had an apraysil done on it and ended up getting $2500 for it it took a lot of fighting just to get that. I hate insurance companeys.

My wife and son are doing ok now. We are all glad to be here still. I'm glad my wife has no memorie of that night and my son was to young to remeber. But it's a night I wish I could forget!

We definitely are not getting rich by any means from the setilment but if we play our cards right life will be more comfortable and a little easyer to get by.

Thanks all for the kind words. I drove my brother inlaws truck for the first time this past summer and it went pretty good for a ford! It took me a few years to be able to bring myself to even sit in the truck. I remeber helping him put the motor and tranny in it befor he past away. It's got a 4l out of an 06 ranger I think. It can sure lay some rubber I will tell ya that much. I was friends with him in highschool than started dateing his little sister after high school then married her.

I miss my blazer and would like to get another 1 but every time I find 1 in good shape I talk to my wife about it and she just brakes down in tiers so I think the 4dr ship has sailed in my house. I have a few other projects on the back burnner that I will Finnish in time the parts I have won't go bad sitting in the garage. And I have lots of parts I have been buying s10s and stripping them down since high school for the good stuff off them then scrapping the junk that's left. I have bought a few peoples projects that they lost intrest in as well.

Sorry for your loss, that's horrible what happened. I can't imagine what that feels like.

I can relate to the spending lots and lots on the truck, though.. I had about $7000 in my old one, the one that just got let go last week. So now, I'm channeling it all into the new one.

Thanks and yes I hate insurance company's they suck big time and yes so do stupid people. We are pretty happy on how the brother inlaws truck turned out don't think it's exactly what he wanted but we did our best for him.
