huh?

i made a mold of the console, tape and foil, and the tubing, that the gauges slid down into in the picture, and thats what was being stretched over...

very rough draft, only pic i have of this part of the build, tubing is crooked obviously...
never posted the end result on here, i think...but heres how that turned out..figure i'll post it in here, since you can see the early stages of it in the first post of this page..lol..





also happened to be my first time spraying something out of a gun...

Ok i did the first couple of step and i was sanding my dash and then i noticed that my left vent was starting to come off which i figured i sanded to low into the resin could i just use cloth and fiberglass over that and if not wat should i do

just a couple of thoughts I see all of the work is done by hand layup what about a mold and vacuum infusion and are you using epoxy resin and instead of the hard wood how abut using high density foam or balsa and vacuum infuse it it will penetrate and make it real stong this is how all the big wind-turbine blades for wind generation are made the vacuum infusion gives it a smoother finish and strength your work looks good for hand work
