Hey guys... just wondering... i have the K&N GEN 2 intake on my truck right??? well as it is, the intake where it goes inot the TB is already touching the hood ... my ? is, how can i put a TB spacer on it without gettin a new hood??... any special riggin i have to do with the K&N to make it fit???

with you FIPK kit...you should have recieved a black ring that mounts to the top of the TB...leave that ring off...and use the clamp that should have mounted to the ring to mount to the TB. I'm setup like that. It all fits with no need for a new hood. Its still gonna rub though.

I had it on my truck at one time went to the dyno with it on while I was there I took it off and there was no loss in HP. So yes I am sure.

yes they are are a waste of money on 96+ 4.3 motors.had one sold it, very annoying sounds for no perfromance gain.

You are correct. If you leave that off, everything will fit. And they are right about no performance gains.
