Its really a pain. I had to do it when I ut my seat in. I took off all the springs that were on the bottom. And then just unbolted things as I could find them. The tracks are mounted to the frame of the seats. There are a couple of bolts like 4 of them. I think around a 12mm size. They are kinda in an akward area to get a wrench into. Just were some gloves otherwise you will definetly tear up your hands.

You need to get the bottom cushon off first. That gets you easy access to the bolts for the rails. I removed mine the first time like xtremefour did, major PITA and lots of cuts on the hands.
