Hey,

I was looking for the H.I.D. look for my headlights and was wondering which ones were better. The Sylvania Silverstars or the GE Super blues. Or is there another brand i should look into? These would be for the pre-'98 era s-10 which need the seald beams. I was leaning more towards the super blues cause they cost less. Anyone have either of these?

i have had both sets of those bulbs and the silverstars are a million times better IMO...super blue are cheap and as a matter of fact my superblue bulbs exploded for no apparent reason...sylvannia>superblue

Make sure they will fit into the sealed beams. I had to get new lights, some diamond clear halo's off of Ebay for $50 , and they came with lights. I had to change my plugs to an H4 plug adapter though. It was easy.

I just bought Sylvania Silverstars today. Can't wait for it to get dark. I just put these on: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33710&item=2447033487 so I figured I would change the bulbs too.
