Hey guys,

i hAVE A 01 2.2L S-10. when i get between the speed of 30-40mph. my truck acts like it is getting no gas or not enough. it just happens when i am at this speed. has this happend to anyone else if so please help on how to fix. The truck has 43k on it.

what rpms/gear auto of 5 speed?

auto. iam not sure what rpm. just reg. driving.

Check plugs. My friend has a late 90's model 4.3 vortec. His plugs started getting fouled or something. He can do descent at low rpms, but once the rpms started moving up just a little, or especially if he got on it to put the motor in strain, he would have no power.

Possibly timing too...but if it wasnt getting fuel i'd guess that it wouldnt get it at low rpms either.

my s10 did this the day i got it, but the fuel sending unit was broke so it read a full tank, but i was really running outa gas heh.

(in the shop getting a new one now since i got a 30 day warrantee)
