I have heard rumors that you can put Impala brakes on an s-10,Is there anything to it ,and if ,will they go on an early model???

im not 100% certain for the S10 but i have this setup for my chevelle, you need the b-body (impala,caprice,etc..)spindle and backing plate and caliper you wont need the rotors cause they wont fit anyway,you'll also need aftermarket upper a-arms to correct the suspention geometry,b-body spindles also lower your vehicle 1'' .

now i cant see why this wont work on a S10 but if somebody else
knows please post it

the rotors to use are from a third gen 1LE camaro

I have the power stop rotors and am happy with them!At the speeds I drive i germany(average cruise 100mph) I have lots of room for improvment.If the darn things werent so expensive:cry:

Want some true stopping power? you should look into getting these for your truck. i put some on my Z and man I tell ya that i stop on a dime with no fade. i autox that car and it makes a real difference.

hey they are german what do you expect.


still i think that these brakes are the best out there.
