Anybody have the size and length of the second generation Blazer/Jimmy body mount bolts? My 2000 Blazer has a 2" body lift and an 2 1/2" Rough Country lift on it. I'm wanting to take the body lift off when I switch out my suspension to my new 6" lift kit. I'm trying not to have to take each bolt out and measure them so I can go get new bolts while taking the body lift off.

Oh and they are a metric thread and pitch. Sorry but I don't remember what either one was. But if you have a specialty nut and bolt store you should be able to find some. Or one or more of the members on here will offer to help you, most of them have extra parts. Like Harley, or you can ask the moderator Rhotpursuit, he usually knows who has parts.

Or just go to your local u pull it wrecking yard and get them yourself, blazers are all the same, I'm not sure about the trucks though. The cab would be the same but the bed bolts would be different. On second gen two door blazers there are ten mounts in total and on four door blazers there are twelve mounts I believe.

Yeah I noticed they were metric by the numbers on the heads of the bolts. I was thinking that the S10s were going to be metric anyway since GM started mixing SAE & metric bolts on their vehicles in the early 80s. But I figured there would have been a bunch of different lengths on the bolts. I'll pop the grille out to get to the radiator support ones this weekend a d pull a body mount one to get the size and length threads. I'm hoping I'll have time to put the 6" lift on next weekend and possibly pull the body lift off. I can't stand the look of the body lift and the lack of travel the 2.5" lift has up front.

The radiator core support one's are just a bolt and a nut, they don't thread into the body like the rest of the bolts do. There is a welded nut in the body and that's where the rest of the body mount bolts are connected. You cannot access those welded in nuts.
