Personally, it depends on what you want to do. If you want to shave the seam between the side pieces and the rear roll pan then fiberglass might be better. You can fill with composites and shave that seam. I've heard of guys cracking the fiberglass ones. But I've also heard of guys scratching the holy piss out of the abs ones. IMO if you have the fiberglass ones, for the most part unless you destroyed them, you can always fix them with fiberglass. If you sractch or gouge them, you can always fill them with fiberglass. Once the abs ones are scratched or gouged, I think thats it. You might find it to be a bitch to repair abs verses fiberglass. I'm good at glass soI know if I hose them up, I'll be able to repai them and keep them looking new and great.

Just my 2 cents here. I got the fiberglass ones. Not installed yet, but soon.

ok thats all for now. ill have to learn how to resize or something to get the pics to show up on the page so you dont have to keep going to my potobucket site to see them.

i should have everything painted and mounted in 2 weeks or so... going out of town this weekend so that leaves painting them the next weekend ill post pics after the install and some of it if i dont forget the canon:D

The ECC ones ARE ABS, there's another company that makes fiberglass ones, not sure who though.
ECC makes ABS and fiberglass.

I have had them both ABS seems to fit better but as Nick stated fiberglass is easier to repair.

I now have fiberglass sides and Grant steel rool pan.

So,, if you know how to prep the ABS properly, you can repair with fiberglass,
I'm molding my hold back end together and I have the ECC ones, and I'll be glassing it all together,!

Fiberglass will repair almost anything,, as long as you prep the material properly and, use the proper techniques!!

I have had the fiberglass ones from Street Scene, I liked them,, but I didn't like the body line in it!

The ECC ones, don't have the bottom body line in it, but rather they bubble down and carry the fender flare further!
