anyone know were i can get a step by step how to.i want to bag my dime and dont want to have to pay a arm and a leg to get it done when i think i can do just as good a job myself.any help would be great thanks
There is no one and only "how to bag an s10" there are a lot of steps involved. it is easier the break it up into section: the back, the front, the air management. To get you started read through the how to sections. in the chassis subsection you will find some things like a how to install a 3/5 link from Suicidedoors(the company), a how to do a step notch, and other things pertinent to bagging like moving the evap canister. Other good sources of info are www.airridetalk.com that site probably has the best tutorials for air management. But what I have found the most helpful because of the idea that a picture is worth 1000 words is looking at other peoples project threads. That’s where i learned most of everything I know. Not to make it sound like I’m bagging mine the only way to do it(because there are tons of different ways to do it) but I am bagging mine right now, a full bag job with the whole 9 yards involved. Take a look though it, maybe just scan through the pics and read the details later, but this will give you a good idea of whats involved and how to do it: http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f125/project-living-up-to-my-username-298385/
Where are yo located? There are people on here all around that know what they are doing and usually willing to help for a lot less than a shop will charge... You can lend a hand, learn some, and save some cash..
wait a second. your going to tackle it but know nothing about it really yet? do you know what setup your going to use? sounds like your going into this very blind, please dont do that. do you research to find out what setup fits you best and how to install it. dont get in over your head just trying to tackle this head first.
im with xtuckin on this on...i researched the subject for the last 6 months...im just gettin started baggin mine...its alot of work...and takes alot more time that i would have thought...but its well worth it..just do your research man...
