how do you get rid of the spoiler.... i took it off to paint the truck and i like the look of it without... where can i find these hinges

oh i got it anyways... you just put that spoiler down and wack it at the posts the grind it down

A cleaner option would be to go to a junkyard and find a 1st gen blazer w/o a rear spoiler, take the hinges and replace yours.

You might even be able to order new ones at a dealer.

NO! Use different hinges, made w/o spoiler attachment.
I'd buy them new if I were you (used are pretty worn usually), go to the dealer.

yea my dad did them i think they turned out pretty nice, and yes they are the original brackets

I just went to the junkyard to get that spoiler because I dont think the blazer looks right without it when I have the rear tire on.

well yea with a spare tire carrier and no wing it would look pretty weird, but my euro tails sit right in with that no wing nicely
