Ok here is my deal. I just had smaller tires put on my truck and my speedo is off my 14.9% by maita's tire site. I have called around and cannot find anywere to get it fixed. The only place i have not checked is a chevy dealership but i am going to call them tomorrow. Does anybody know who or what i can do to fix the problem? I have a 2000 chevy s-10 with a 2.2 in it.

hypertech chip would probably fix it. Buying one of them probably does the same thing as having the dealer reflash it

oh, i dont know about that. I just live with my incorrect speedo, but mines only off by 1 or 2% not 14%

ok i just called the chevy dealership and they said that they can do it but the new tires have to be in my trucks computer. I went from 205/75r15 to 205/50r15 so i dont think there will be a problem. They said it was going to be $36 to look at it and not do anything and $72 if they can reprogramm it. should i do it?

i not sure what he ment by that. either in the trucks computer or the computer program that they have at the dealership.

hell theres a place here that will do all spedo recalcs for 55 dollars wheather it be electronic or gear driven.
