get an aftermarket coil, this will help your ignition system way more than plugs and wires, our stock plugs and wires are pretty good, the coils are only like 20 bux too and they are pretty easy to install
MSD,Taylor,Vitek,Accel and Magnacore all make wire sets.Stock sets usually have resistance between 6k-8k ohms, the MSD and M agnacore are around 1k-2k ohms which means more juice gets to the wires.I'm not sure what the resistance is on the other brands.Accel,MSD,and Jacob's make coil pack replacements.
Oh,if you want more power stay away from platinium plugs.Platinium is good because its harder than copper and is more resiliant so the gaps on the plugs stay within tolerances longer.Thats why all the factories are putting them in so you can go 70,000 miles with out having to change them, but platinium is a poor conductor(much higher resistance than copper)
