I realize this is bragging, but this is likely one of the best completed LS swaps into an S-series.
Every single factory feature works great: A/C, power steering, cruise control, all factory gauges, etc.
The v8 wire harness and original v6 wire harness have been seamlessly integrated together and are driven off a reprogrammed (via HPTuners) original blazer PCM.
It's not bragging if it's true?

Having seen this and all of your other projects I can definitely say it is one of the best.

Whoever ends up with this truck will definitely be able to enjoy it.

yessir, i wish GM made a v8 s10 as an option.
curious to why you routed the intake tube up over the intake? i get it for a snorkel effect of keeping the intake opening as high as possible, juts curious if there was any other reason behind it.

im sure you'll get youre asking price, hope you have this posted all over the net for greater audience

It was mostly for the snorkel effect without actually making a snorkel. A more typical behind the headlight intake would have surely sucked in water with the trails I've taken it through.
plus with all the FEAD crammed up against the e-fan, there's not an easy other way to run the intake to anywhere anyways

and thanks, I have spammed it all over the place

Clever, wish I had thought of that. I ended up moving my battery to the back footwell in a sealed compartment since the intake (filter) occupied that space. Upside was I could keep the stock hood.

Did you have any issues clearing the front differential? Nice fabrication and fairly priced.

luckily I already had the hood before the swap, just opened up options because of all the extra room.

not after I cut up the H3 pan I didn't have issues!

$9500

2004 Chevrolet Blazer ZR2
Aluminum block LS V8 swapped
manual trans, manual t-case

This is the blazer configuration GM should have made from the factory, with all the extras you could want.
I bought this Blazer bone stock 8 years ago and have painstakingly built it up to what it looks like today.

I will include the HPTuners cable and suite which has this blazer unlocked with the sale of the truck.

I have taken this rig on more weekenders and weeklong trips than I can count.
The perfect size for 2 people + dog, have comfortably slept in the rear with the back seat folded flat in half those trips (warmer than a tent in the winter!)

Perfectly capable offroad as-is, it has completed many solo adventures including a full loop of the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway, multiple weekends at Drummond island, mountains and beaches of North Carolina, all over the UP and much more.
I would not hesitate to daily drive or take this across the country tomorrow.

Quick list of features:
2004 ZR2 Blazer (175k miles on odometer/body)
rare non-sunroof model
steel cowl hood (needed to clear some v8 features)
aluminum block 5.3 V8 (LM4 from 2004 Envoy XUV, 133k miles on motor when I swapped into the blazer which at the time had 158k miles)
5 speed manual trans (NV3500)
Manual cable shifted t-case (converted NP233)
Bravada 1 pc shaft Iron case front differential (stock on 5 spd blazers)
custom rear diff cover protection
1 ton idler arm swap
full custom exhaust from manifolds to rear exit tailpipe. dual 2.5" borlas to a single quietflow and exit
bastard leaf spring pack to handle the extra weight comfortably
Steel armor: hand fabbed front and rear bumpers, rear with swing-out tire carrier including a good spare front hub,
front and rear 2" hitch
trailer brake controller and 7 pin wiring/connector at rear bumper
Knaffle weld-on sliders
Aluminum skid plates
Smittybilt X2O winch with synthetic rope
custom roof rack with integrated LED light bar and camp/reverse lights
KC spot beam and PIAA driving beam aux lights on front bumper
hard wired in Garmin GPS unit
hard wired in CB radio
extra USB and cig lighter outlets switchable between ign on and const on
rear seat delete for storage cubbies (original seat will also be included, and is a bolt-in swap)
Hi-lift jack and mount maxtrax pin mounts (maxtrax not included)
quick fist mounted shovel
31x10.5R15 Duratracs on camaro Z28 wheels
oversized aluminum throttle pedal face (more comfortable driving barefoot in the dunes/beach)
Extra OEM features added: homelink garage opener panel, keyless entry fob x2

PM me if interested.
