there's always the option of using a wire mesh then with fiberglass, that way it can be any shape you like, i was wonerding the same thing

why not bring it in the cab? if you rn outta air i thik you got bigger probles. haha, and that way you ca hid it when not wheelin, on te other hand, it migt whistle in the cab. good luck man.

I always wondered why you can't move the snorkel into the cowl behind the firewall. I know it's not as high as your snorkels, but for daily use and floods, it may not be bad.

Thanks for the link to my snorkel build..still learning how this site works...deathphoenix99..shop around is all I can say...I ended up getting two snorkels from a distributor in Bosnia...at a price that I COULD NOT PASS on...

SS105HF or SS106HF...both the same..then it came to the connection parts..that was the heardest, especially the cobra head elbow...I went 3" from the snorke to the intake

On s10extremest there was a guy that used parts off a k5 on his first gen and it looked pretty good. Last I heard he was working on connecting to his carb. Thats pretty easy for us TBI guys with a normal neck and not the square crap GM used on the factory carbs.
