why do they need to be smooth, easier to paint? can you sand them down smooth?? on my 03 cause it so i wanna paint them tommarrow when i paint my hoodm thanks guys

yea and they look better to most ppl
it would be a PITA to sand them down i would think
id rather just buy smooth ones im not gonna sand on mine
im just gonna get some smooth ones temporary till i shave mine anyways

Quick question,
After getting these smooth handles and painting them, should the rubber molding(gasket) around the handle be painted too or will the paint flake. Should I just leave the rubber piece out or leave it black?
