I have a 94 s15 jimmy with an automatic transmission. What happens is when I push on the gas, the truck hardly moves. I have checked my fluid and added stop slip but it hasn't helped. Could a clogged filter cause this?
Possibly, but more than likely it's time for a rebuild. What color is the fluid? Should be a nice clean pinkish. If it's brownish or black or smells at all that's not a good sign.
