has anyone used slick 50? i have used it in my 92 s10 and my 78 k-10 im a dieharg gm fan own 5 vehicles i think this stuff works it may control some of the oil burning also i started using valvoline max life in my s10.its a cleaner oil and i get better iol pressure alomst 100k mikes soon.let me know about the slick 50 stuff thanks

I dunno bout slick 50. But all I run is mobil 1. Nuthin beats good ole synthetic. :thumbup:

Slick 50=worthless. Boss at work used to try additives in the work trucks all the time. Synthetic oils work some but the best single additive we ever tried was Z Max. Every time we tried it there was at least a 1.5 mpg increase (these trucks typically went from 5.5 mpg to 7 mpg). Put some in the girlfriend's car (didn't tell her) and she asked me what I did to it. Stuff cost's about $40 though, not sure if it will pay for itself.

Z-Max had a big lawsuit against them cause it was messing up peoples cars. I tried it before on my truck and i didnt like it.
