I tried to find a diagram of how the front brake caliper bolts / "spacers" should look. (edit: "caliper slide pin sleeves")

Gave up.

Pretty sure they were not in the proper location on mine.

I put them in where I think they should go.

hope it's right.

would be nice if there was a diagrams forum.

Rock Auto calls it a "caliper slide pin sleeve" or a bushing, I called it a spacer.
It seems to fit on the slide pin (inside the caliper cast iron),(& that's how I put it back together) but when I took off the old brakes it was on the caliper slide pin but not set into the casting, it was on the pin but not pressed into the casting. EDIT: question answered! I found a video that shows the bushings just put onto the caliper slide pins and then screwed in, pulling the bushing into place (where I figured it should go). Someone before me put the bushings on the wrong part of the slide pins.

The sleeves can be pushed in and out by hand, they not pressed into the casting using an interference fit.
The important thing that most people ignore is not using caliper lube on the pins and seals.
