May sound like a strange question but I have a 2001 Xtreme that I'd like to put on bags though would also like to retain the stock sway bars.

Can the SD 5-link system be modified to accept the stock sway bars?? Maybe adding a bracket or something similar??

no, the lift bar brackets are directly in the way. there arnt too many kits our there that will allow use of the stock sway bar, and youll only be able to go so low until the forward bars hit the sway bar brackets on the frame.

Makes sense, Thanks for the info.

Would the older weld in 5 link have the same issues?? I'm going to assume so since the lift bars are behind the axle.

I've never seen any photos of the older 5-link actually being installed is it any good?

you can always make your own swaybars or if you want although i dont recommend it you can space off the mounts.
you can only space it up or down tho

im only doing this temporary

Interesting setup you have there. so you basically moved the mounting points back further on the frame?
