Hey guys, idk if this is the right section to ask this in but I have a 97 Isuzu Hombre (S10) 2.2L 5 Speed
It started having issues with randomly stalling while driving
or idling maybe once a month.

Now it will start once then die after about 40 seconds. And
not start again for a few minutes but it will not stay
running.

My scanner doesnt show any codes.

Recently have changed Fuel Pump/Filter, has a new starter,
and a new Crank position sensor.

Any ideas of what it could be or what to try to diagnose it?

Although you replaced the fuel pump have you tested the pressure?

Moved to 2.2L 2nd Gen 4 Banging.

Fuel pressure gauge can be rented/borrowed from Autozone.

No I have not tested the pressure. I dont believe I have the tools to do it haha.
Tools like that really help, rentals are convenient.

If fuel pump is good, fuel filter is new, and relay is good, might be the regulator or flex fuel sensor.

Might want to check the idle air control valve

I had a kinda similar problem last year with my 4.3. Not quite stalling, but running pretty rough and acting like it was gonna stall on acceleration and uphills. It's older but after swapping cap, rotor, plugs, wireset, and some other easy crap I started chasing sensors, IAC valve and fuel pressure. Ended up being a vaccum leak combined with slightly retarded timing (which I think the computer was doing to counteract the vacuum leak). It was an easy fix and I wish I had started out by looking for it. Needed the tune-up anyway, but felt kinda dumb for not doing proper diagnostics to begin with. I know you just did the pump, but did you touch anything else while hooking it up? Like they said though, checking pressure since you just did the job is probably the first thing. Unless it was doing this before you changed the pump.
