This is a far stretch but I have a 1987 s10 extended cab I want to swap the rear end with a stronger rear end that is also posi,
I have a 9.5" 2006 trailblazer ss rear end that has 4.10 gears, I'm curious if this swap would be possible or even worth the trouble,
Thanks in advance, I've never messed with rear ends before and I want to do something cool and already have this SS rear end

If you're 97, it's just a stock setup putting a stronger rear end and it will be just a waste of money and time. You can get a g80 from the wrecking yard fairly cheap and put it in your stock rear end. They only break if you abuse them. Think of it like this. You can put lipstick on a pig but is it really sexy?
