I installed a ham radio in the 89 s10 4x4 extended cab, automatic, 4.3. When you're driving you can hear the speed sensor making and breaking sending the pulse to the module. Cant get rid of the noise there. Blinkers makes noise in the radio. Shhh shhh shhhh shhhh. That hash. When you shift into gear you hear shhh in the radio. When I key the radio it shuts the engine off. I'm getting rf in the truck.

It can be heard in the am/fm radio too. Everything is working windows, lights ect.

I've grounded, bonded, changed parts, moved antenna, changed coax and changed radios. I'm about to go nuts.

I wonder if it's the power source you're using for the ham. Maybe a circuit that doesn't share any power with the other accessories? Like a fusible link to the junction block, or straight to the battery- but maybe that's it's own stupid idea.

there used to be filters you would install in the power side of the radio, that was back in the CB days.
