Ok guys i have a treat for you all. i stumbled upon a COMPLETE service manual for the S-series trucks a while back. i believe these are GM manuals as they go into crazy step by step detail with full procedure and torque spec documentation. the PDF files were broken up into sections so i will post them in the appropriate sections. if the following links do not work, let me know and i will try to correct it. just make sure you have flash/java and all that updated on your browser.

here is a link to the complete service manual that i uploaded. this includes everything from electrical, to engine, and suspension as well as body.

DISK BRAKES full torque specs and servicing inside.

anything else that may be suspension related is in the suspension section or just click the main link up top in my post for the service manual directory.

did you ever get the GM esi manuals? I recently bought a new version up to 2009 on ebay for $20, its a lot more stable then the old one, just a little slower because it runs in microsoft vm.

never heard of esi lol. i just stumbled upon these while looking for something else. it brought me to a PDF and then i just simply followed the URL back to the source to find gold lol. i saved them all just in case the site went down. it pretty much covers everything about the s-series.
