Don't see much of these around. What's your asking price?

Since GM didn't offer the S10 Electric until 96 and those were FWD, I gather this is a conversion. Who built it and when? Chevy's version got 33-43 miles on a charge. How far will this one go on a full charge and what kind of batteries does it have?

I was thinking this needs more info about the truck since most of us don't have experience with electric vehicles and a ballpark price would be nice as well. I see a gearshift lever which is unusual for an electric???

The factory ones were automatic FWD.

Most electrics are direct drive with no transmission since they are not needed and just use up power.

Most modern electric cars are direct drive... these old conversions were almost always exclusively manuals. Haven't seen a lot of S10s like this, have seen a lot of 1st gen Escorts and EXPs though.

Supposedly from 96-99 GM only sold 60 to fleet purchasers. The other aprox 450 were leased and crushed when turned in.

Have you seen the White Zombie youtube videos? That conversion was done quite a while ago and is direct drive. I really like the one where he races the Corvette or the GTR.

I posted this question in the wrong thread---how much does it weigh with all the batteries? Does it have a new GVWR sticker? And would you mind posting zipcode to make some calculations? Thanks.
