SEMA is already pushing back on this, it'll not happen anytime soon. But, they'll back door something on some law someday. It's already illegal in California to be working on your car, an officer can give you a ticket if they see it. Saying it's 'stripping a vehicle' and you have to got to court to prove it wrong.
