I have a 96 S-10 with that hoaky looking step bumper thing, I dont know if I can just use a typical rollpan, I saw on a website that you actually need a stepshaver kit. Help me, I dont know which one I need.

the roll pan is the actual part like a mirror, the step shaver is is just shaving the step (removing) the kit prolly includes the light kit to make it legal and all the hardware and you gotta get it painted which is usually pricey

step shaves are for stepside beds and roll pans are for fleet side beds. If the sides of your bed match the contour of the cab you need a roll pan.

actually if you use the step shavers u can then use a roll pan to smooth out the rear
