Can any one tell me the gear ratio from this info on my ring gear?

You count the pinion turns until the ring gear makes a full turn... Simple ratio.

That's what those numbers are there for. To tell you what ratio a matched set of gears is. Definitely 3.73.

I keep a paint marker handy and count , how I figured out the t5s we got were different as well.two were indeed 3 06 (went in bin) 3rd was the charm at 2 95..sorry 🧠 wandered, yes trust them^^^^.. but just saying future wise, mark n count works too when numbers are too small or ??

Ratio calculator, of divide # of ring gear teeth by # of pinion gear teeth, if you have the cover off. I'm guessing that the chalk mark method and turning the wheel might not be accurate enough to determine between, for example, a 3.11 and 3.42, or a 3.73 and 3.42, I think they also made a 3.52 or 3.56.

I mean GM, as an example, not just S10. I didn't realize they made quite that many ratios, though.
What years are 2nd Generation?
